Bajaj Auto has introduced a special edition of its popular electric scooter, the Chetak 3201. Based on the top-spec Premium variant, this limited-edition model is priced at an introductory Rs 1.30 lakh (ex-showroom) and will be exclusively available on Amazon starting August 5. The price is set to increase to Rs 1.40 lakh post the launch period.
The Chetak 3201 Special Edition retains the core design of its Premium counterpart but adds distinctive elements for a unique look. It boasts ‘Chetak’ decals on the side panels, a two-tone quilted seat, scuff plates, and eye-catching blue accents on the rims. The scooter is exclusively offered in Brooklyn Black.
In terms of features, the special edition comes equipped with a color TFT display that offers turn-by-turn navigation, music controls, call alerts, and customizable themes. Enhancing rider convenience, the scooter includes hill-hold control and multiple riding modes – Eco, Sports, and Reverse – accessible through the TecPac software.
Powered by the same 3.2 kWh battery pack as the standard model, the Chetak 3201 Special Edition delivers a claimed range of 136 km on a single charge and a top speed of 73 km/h.
The special edition will compete with other premium electric scooters in the market, including the Ather 450X, Ola S1 Pro, and TVS iQube S.
