Javi Guerra, a highly-touted midfielder from Valencia, will not be joining AC Milan as previously speculated.
According to Hector Gomez of Tribuna Deportiva, an agreement has been reached for Javi Guerra’s transfer from Valencia to Atletico Madrid.
Guerra, who was also a target for Milan, is set to ink a contract with the Colchoneros that will keep him in Madrid until 2030.
“Javi Guerra has been on our radar for some time, and we are thrilled to have him join our squad,” said an Atletico Madrid representative, Gomez reported.
The deal is concluded for a base fee of €25 million, cementing Guerra’s future with Atletico Madrid.
