YEREVAN, 30 July. /ARKA/. An Armenian-American business bridge is planned to be organised in the United States in December 2024, Head of the Armenian Council for the Support of International Business Relations Mariam Manukyan said today.nbsp;/pp
According to a preliminary agreement with the Armenian Ministry of Economy, this large-scale event will be organised to present Armenia's investment potential and opportunities to American investors,’ Manukyan told a press conference on Tuesday./pp/pp
According to her, Armenian business structures have huge potential, but few opportunities for cooperation and increasing production volumes, which creates problems in working with major U.S. trade networks./pp/pp
For example, as Manukyan noted, Armenian companies producing bottled water have opened branches in the U.S. to organise the supply of products and coordinate their sales in the American market./pp/pp
As for the activities in Europe, Manukyan said that in Austria and the Czech Republic the state authorities provide ample opportunities for Armenian enterprises to enter their markets./pp/pp
They provide favourable conditions both for importing goods and for establishing and developing business relations. And if a company develops its activities in these countries, it can take advantage of favourable conditions and the right to carry out tax-free activities. This expands the opportunities for business operations in Europe,’ Manukyan noted./pp/p
