Shruti Ulfat plays the role of Vidya Poddar in the show and she opened up about the TRPs of the show. She spoke to Telly Chakkar and said that Rajan Shahi's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is now a brand and it is a connecting show because it has been going on for years and it is currently in its 16th year. Shruti has been in the show for eight months now and there has been a TRP race going on since a long time.
She shared that TRPs have been one of the most important factors for everyone including channels and producer. If TRPs are high, the show is liked. She shared that the creatives and the writers are bringing out plots with high drama and emotions as that works the best on television. Shruti shared that it is a big task as they have to make sure that the audience is glued to their TV screens.
She further said that Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been running successfully for so many years as they have the makers and the writers who are very accomplished, experienced and they know what they are doing and have been doing it for the past many years.
She added that the makers are doing a lot of hardwork on the content and the actors are also working hard to bring out the vision of the makers. After the hard work of many people, a show gets successful.
