In a podcast with Paras Chhabra, Arti Singh who was a part of Bigg Boss 13 stated that she was the happiest to see her 'Chi chi Mama' at her wedding. She revealed that Govinda came for a short while but it was a big thing for her as it was after a long time that everyone met. She also stated that she never had any problems with him. She had nothing to do with the fight and was never involved. She was quoted saying, "I love him a lot. And I always used to tell everyone that I mean, he has taken a lot of care of me. And he has loved me a lot. He has given me so much love. So, I was never involved in that. Whatever happened, I was never a part of it. But I am happy that he came for the marriage."
If reports are to be believed, the feud started after a tweet made by Kashmera back in 2018. She wrote about people dancing at weddings for money and Govinda's wife Sunita thought that it was directed to her. In interviews, Kashmera Shah and Sunita have spoken about their equation at length. Even when Govinda and Sunita appeared on The Kapil Sharma Show, Krushna Abhishek was missing from the segment.
After Govinda appeared at Arti Singh's weddding, Kashmera revealed that she extended her apology and even bent to touch his feet. Govinda blessed her and even gave blessings to Krushna, Kashmera's children.
