Mirzapur season 3 recently premiered on Amazon Prime Video and it got everyone talking. The series starring Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Shwetha Tripathi, Vijay Varma and many more received mixed reaction from fans. Fans were quite upset too as Divyendu Sharma aka Munna Bhaiya's character wasn't a part of Mirzapur 3. His character was shot dead in the end of season 2 and Mirzapur 3 started with his wife mourning his demise. The co-director of the web series Anand Iyer has now spoken about Divyendu's absence and fans' reaction to the series.

In an interview with India Today, Anand Iyer, the co-director of Mirzapur 3 starring Pankaj Tripathi and Ali Fazal in the lead stated that one cannot cater to everyone. He added that unpredictable things happen in the show just like they do in life. And in a show, characters do come and go. He said, "It is all about 'Mirzapur', not about one character. The show must go on with new twists and turns."
Talking about the show getting a mixed reaction from fans, Anand Iyer mentioned that most of the shows receive such reactions as there are a few fans who are expressing themselves emotionally. He added "These reactions are mainly about the characters, not about the show in general. And there are constant discussions about Season 4 as well, which somewhere makes me believe that the show is widely loved.
In Mirzapur season 3, the story was all about who will become the next Baahubali of Mirzapur. It was being considered that Kaleen Bhaiyya is dead as Guddu Bhaiyya shot him in season 3.
