York and Benson highlighted the lack of accountability as Cheatle remains in her position as Director of the Secret Service. York had this to say on the unfavorable nature of Kamala Harris as a presidential candidate:
“And I think what happened is, if you look over the campaign is that the more voters got to know her, the less they liked her. And that happens with, with candidates, you know, who make a splash with something they say in a debate or something like that… so with Harris, it took them a while to get to know her. And by that time that her support was about 3% and she, dumped out on December of 2019. So I’m wondering whether there might be just a little bit of a hangover as Democrats remember how bad a candidate she was. And then wondering whether maybe that’s the best they can do trying to beat Trump.”
