ArmInfo.The Office of the
Armenian Prime Minister again proposed that Baku create a joint
mechanism between Armenia and Azerbaijan to investigate cases of
ceasefire violations and/or information about them.
The statement of the Armenian government notes that in recent days,
official sources of Azerbaijan have resumed publications about
violation of the ceasefire by the Armed Forces of the Republic of
Armenia on the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border.
"The Ministry of Defense of Armenia has denied this information.
Despite this, Azerbaijani sources continue to make similar
publications, seasoning them with geopolitical accents. The Office of
the Prime Minister of Armenia confirms its proposal to create a joint
mechanism between Armenia and Azerbaijan to investigate cases of
ceasefire violations and/or information about them.
We reaffirm the Armenian government's commitment to the peace agenda
within the framework of public agreements already reached," the
Armenian government said in a statement. Over the weekend, the
Azerbaijani defense department twice accused the Armenian Armed
Forces of violating the ceasefire. The Armenian Ministry of Defense
called these messages from the Azerbaijani side disinformation.
