In an interview with Mashable India, Janhvi Kapoor shared that the party wasn't a last minute plan. It was planned to be much more intimate, however, at the last minute, she realised that it could not be very basic and hence she started panicking. She added that she and her friends wanted to make the bridal shower very special for Radhika as she always takes good care of every one all the time. Janhvi was also asked whether the boys gate crashed the bridal shower. The Dhadak actress mentioned that it was all planned and as a group, they are very needy and always want each other around. Janhvi had shared a series of from the party and captioned them as "A Princess Diaries Royal slumber party for the most special bride."
