ArmInfo. On July 16, RA Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan received a delegation headed by U.S. Undersecretary of State Uzra Zeya. According to the press service of the RA government, the meeting was also attended by the US Ambassador to Armenia Kristina Kvien.
Welcoming the visit of US Deputy Secretary of State to Armenia, Tigran Khachatryan emphasized the importance of ensuring continued progress in bilateral relations based on democratic values and mutually determined priorities.
During the meeting, the interlocutors noted the importance and necessity of continuity in the implementation of programs aimed at combating corruption and strengthening democratic values. Among other issues of mutual interest, the parties also discussed ongoing work on housing and employment programs for internally displaced persons from Nagorno-Karabakh and possible cooperation in these areas.
