Bream had this to say on broadcasting during the attempted assassination of President Trump:
“I’m always prayerful, as I start my day and when I get about my work to like, Lord, just guide my words and my thoughts through everything that will come today, never knowing what your day is going to do or is going to encounter. And it was this weird calmness, even though, like I said, my heart felt like it literally could beat through my chest, especially the first half hour or so of our coverage. There was this calm. It just came over me… I’m always grateful that God is with us 24/7. And I believe that. He promises to walk us through really tricky things. And if there’s anything that went well on Saturday, then I would give him the credit.”

Hume had this to say on the VP pick of OH Senator JD Vance:
“I think it’s a good question. I will say this. If I were, looking at it from the point of view of how he would handle the debate with Kamala Harris, if I were the Trump, I wouldn’t be all worried about that. This guy’s sure the fanciest talker since Barack Obama.”

Joni Ernst, the first female combat veteran elected to the US Senate and author of DAUGHTER OF THE HEARTLAND: My Ode to the Country that Raised Me, joined Guy on the Guy Benson Show to discuss the nomination of Sen. Sen. Ernst had this to say on the Democrats seeming to stick with President Biden as their presidential nominee:
“I am sorry, Democrats wake up. You know there’s something wrong here. They are afraid to admit it because then they will have to say, you know what I knew all along, but I just went along because the Democratic machine is so vindictive to those that come out against President Biden, they’ve got to get over it. I’m actually okay with them not getting over it, because politically, this is great for us because President Trump is going to waltz into the white House and we are going to see a majority back in the Senate. We’re going to keep the House.”
