Several legendary rock stars took to social media Thursday night to pay tribute to Scott Weiland, the former frontman of Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver who was found dead on his tour bus earlier in the day.
Guitarist Slash, who collaborated with Weiland during their Velvet Revolver days, wrote, “Sad day. RIP Scott Weiland.”
Original shock rocker Alice Cooper also chimed in, writing, “Deeply saddened by the passing of singer #ScottWeiland. What a voice we’ve lost. Thoughts and prayers to his family.”
