So Sad: Nursing Student Dies In Ghastly Auto Crash (Photo)

A 28-year-old lady, Victoria Agbulu, a Nursing student of School of Psychiatric, Aro, Abeokuta was on Saturday killed in a motor accident along Abeokuta-Lagos road.

The incident occurred at Ile Ise Awo area, few meters to the Neuro Psychiatric Hospital.

Our correspondent gathered that the lady, a native of Effe, Ugbokolo, Benue state was on her way to Lagos, and boarded a bus in front of the hospital, only to meet her untimely death about 10minutes later.

It was further gathered that she was among the 2014/2015 set that finished about two months ago, but had to stay back as she had issues with her results in the first semester, which made her join the 2015/2016 set.

Speaking with our correspondent, one of her colleague, simply identified as Ayinke explained that her death was a big blow to them and her family members, considering the pains she had been passing through.

She disclosed that the deceased was a very humble, friendly and accommodating person.

Last night, a candle light procession was organised for her by the students of the school at her Lagos residence and also in the school premises in Abeokuta.

The students, numbering over 100, including some of her mates who had passed out were around to pay their last respect.

They moved round the school premises, down to the main gate of the hospital and later terminated the procession at the main hall of the school.

Her remains, which had been deposited at the mortuary of the General hospital, Ijaiye, Abeokuta was taken this morning to her hometown in Benue state, where she will be interred.
