I’m A Celebrity 2015: Duncan Bannatyne backs Vicky Pattison to win and says his life will be better without Lady C as he leaves camp
Duncan Bannatyne has become the latest camper to leave the I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here jungle.
The Dragons’ Den star received the fewest public votes, with Spandau Ballet singer Tony Hadley narrowly missing out on the boot.
Bannatyne lasted 21 days in the celebrity camp, and frequently clashed with controversial contestant Lady Colin Campbell, who left the show on Wednesday on medical grounds.
Speaking to Ant and Dec after leaving the show, Bannatyne said that “it feels good to be out, but it was also good to be in”, and claimed that he “had great fun” in the camp.
The duo also showed him a montage of footage with the celebrities, especially Vicky Pattison and Ferne McCann, declaring him to be a sex symbol.
“It’s very flattering,” the businessman said. “I didn’t expect that!”
At the mention of Lady C’s name, Bannatyne immediately said “some would say she’s not a lady”, and declared that her conduct in the camp was “unforgiveable”.
Asked whether he would see her again after the show, Bannatyne said: “I think my life is better not having her in it. So I won’t be seeing her again, no.”
With the final set to take place on Sunday, Duncan said that he would be happy to see any of the remaining contestants win the series.
“They’re all lovely,” he said, adding: “My money would be on George winning it.”
However, he also backed Vicky Pattison as his personal winner, alluding to the way she is changing her Geordie Shore image.
“She’s got a bad reputation out there in the media, but she’s actually a fantastic girl,” Bannatyne said.
