In the promo of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, we see that Abhira (Samridhii Shukla) is in trouble as her Bar Association Licence to practice law is going to be taken away. She will see her dreams being snatched away from her thanks to Fufasa and Dadisa. When at home, Abhira asks Armaan (Rohit Purohit) to stay away from her. She adds that whenever he is around, her life goes for a toss. Then Armaan confronts Fufasa. He threats him and asks him to not ruin Abhira's career. Fufasa says that Abhira isn't his wife anymore. Armaan retaliates saying for him, she is his wife and life and nobody should harm her. Kaveri is shock looking at Armaan's furious avatar.
While all of this is happening, Armaan also has a meeting with Ruhi. Kaveri tells him that the Goenkas are in trouble as they took a loan for the wedding. So Armaan has a meeting with Ruhi and states that he would like to help her as she fights to keep the Goenkas safe from going bankrupt. Ruhi is the one because of whom Armaan and Abhira aren't together. In the past, Armaan and Ruhi were in love. But after he got married to Abhira, he did not reveal about his relationship with Ruhi to Abhira. Ruhi had married his brother Rohit. When Abhira was going to accept his love, Kaveri exposed his past affair. Abhira will get to know that Armaan met Ruhi. Will it add to already amplified misunderstandings between the two?
