London (dpa) - Drinks giant Anheuser-Busch InBev on Thursday said it is seeking buyers for SABMiller‘s Grolsch and Peroni beer brands as it restructures ahead of a 77-billion-dollar takeover of its rival.AB InBev said it is "exploring the sale of a number of SABMiller‘s European premium brands and related businesses."It will "contact potential purchasers in the coming weeks to assess their interest in the Peroni and Grolsch brand families and their associated businesses in Italy, the Netherlands and the UK."The Brussels-based company said it also plans to gauge market interest in British premium beer brand Meantime."Any sale may include one or more of these brands or businesses and would be conditional upon closing of the acquisition of SABMiller by AB InBev," it said.SABMiller agreed last month to sell its stake in North American brewer MillerCoors to Molson Coors for 12 billion dollars as part of the takeover by AB InBev.The companies said they expected the takeover to be completed in the second half of next year.
