He has entered the show as Rajat. He will be playing the role of a single father. Savi will be his daughter's teacher and they will share a love-hate relationship. Savi will be close to Rajat's daughter but Rajat will ask her not to try and be her mother.
Hitesh Bharadwaj recently spoke to India Forums about joining the show. He said that he is thrilled to be a part of one of the biggest TV shows, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. He added that the show will now present a new story and characters that will connect with the audience.
He feels that it is a significant responsibility to contribute to the show as a new character and he hopes that the audience gives him and the other actors a chance to win their hearts. He said that he aims to earn the audience's love and acceptance.
Apart from Hitesh, the show will also see Kaveri Priyam, Richa Rathod, Aastha Sharma, Pallavi Pradhan, Sagar Saini, Varun Jain and others joining in post leap. Manasi Salvi and Indraneel Bhattacharya have been retained from the old cast.
