NMC still awaits Gunthewari powers due to officials’ apathy
Despite passing a resolution six months ago, Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) is waiting to get powers under the Gunthewari Act. This is thanks to the apathy of the town planning department, which has kept the resolution in cold storage, instead of forwarding it to the state government for approval.
