Once upon a time, Donald Trump made shit up in his head.
"Hey, I watched when the World Trade Center came tumbling down," the billionaire businessman and former Atlantic City casino tycoon said during a rally Saturday night in Birmingham, Ala., according to video of his speech. "And I watched in Jersey City, N.J., where thousands and thousands of people were cheering as that building was coming down. Thousands of people were cheering.
Thousands and thousands! Being Trump, he doubled down on his crazy.
"There were a lot of happy people over in New Jersey," Trump told a crowd gathered in Waterville, New Hampshire. "And I saw it and a lot of people saw it, and I'm getting hundreds of phone calls and a lot of other people are too, and things are all of a sudden materializing. So people said you should apologize. I said I don't apologize. Hey look, if I'm wrong about something, I want to apologize."
HIs new evidence is a CBS news report that reported on law enforcement sources that they raided a building with eight suspected extremists celebrating. Trump is now demanding apologies, because EIGHT is the same as THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS. Oh, there’s also the MTV report that claimed that a dozen children were celebrating, because A DOZEN is the same as THOUSANDS AND THOUSANDS. Don’t let your liberal math tell you otherwise!
