YEREVAN, June 11. /ARKA/. A peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan can be signed any day if Baku actually puts effort into working towards this goal, Deputy President of Armenia’s National Assembly Ruben Rubinyan said on Tuesday./pp
Rubinyan also commented on the recent statements made by Azerbaijan’s leader Ilham Aliyev. He called Aliyev’s claims that Armenia must “recognize and repent for the Khojaly massacre” as false narratives. “We should not fall for this kind of agenda,” he said./pp
Additionally, Rubinyan confirmed that Azerbaijan’s demands for amendments into Armenia’s Constitution are unacceptable as the Constitution is Armenia’s internal matter./p br
