Senior public health specialist Dr Henk Bekedam is the new WHO Representative, India
Dr Henk Bekedam, a senior World Health Organisation public health specialist with 29 years' experience has taken charge as the WHO Representative to India. A medical doctor by training, Bekedam is a Dutch national, who acquired his MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics in 1996, says a statement.
