In an interview with Galatta India, Manisha Rani opened up about her disturbing casting couch experience. Manisha Rani belongs to Bihar, and when she started her career, she didn't have any knowledge about the nitty-gritty of the acting industry like most outsiders. Manisha stated that she was in Bihar when she received a call from someone who pretended to be from the Bigg Boss team. Manisha said she believed this person because the same person was in touch with quite a few of her actor friends. Manisha sent him her dance videos, and in return, he told her to immediately visit Mumbai so that he could take her to the Colors office and finalize the Bigg Boss deal.
Manisha came to Mumbai especially on the above guy's insistence. After a few days of arriving in Mumbai, the same person called Manisha around 3 in the night and told her to visit his house immediately. Manisha stated that she felt extremely uncomfortable and told the person that she won't visit his house. Hearing Manisha's words, he yelled at her and later disconnected the call. After the call got disconnected, Manisha cried as she understood that the man just wanted to take advantage of her in a wrong manner.
Manisha stated that one thing she clearly understood is that no one in this industry will help anyone randomly. If a person is talented, he or she will one day be noticed and make a name for themselves.
