When asked whether she was intimidated with the persona of Tabu, Kareena Kapoor and Kriti Sanon, Trupti Khamkar said, "The best part about the best people is that they never intimidate you. They know who they are and they are very generous and giving towards their fellow actors. It was a great experience where we all were there to make a film and to what we love to do. The credit also goes to the captain of the ship, Rajesh Krishnan, who kept the respect and love flowing for every one equally." She further added, "Also a bit of credit goes to my 25 odd years of theatre experience, where the actor in front of you is an actor just like you. So you feel very comfortable while you are doing your job and it becomes even more easy when you have some amazing souls like Kareena and Tabu to make your journey easier."
Whether she expected Crew to be a box office hit, Trupti Khamkar said, "Of course I did wish, hope and prayed for it to do fabulously well. Also when you have a perfect story with the perfect cast and perfect producers and presenters it's ought to be a super hit."
