ArmInfo.Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan will take part in the 4th Tbilisi Silk Road Forum, which will be held in Tbilisi for the first time after a three-year break from October 26 -27. The organizers of the forum report.
As noted in the message, this year's forum will also be attended by Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Hasanov, Vice-President of the Asian Development Bank Roberta Casali and other officials. The event will be moderated by International broadcast journalist Ghida Fakhri. More than 2 thousand delegates from more than 60 countries will take part in the forum. It will focus on current issues such as trade facilitation, e-commerce development, digital communications, transport infrastructure and energy. The program includes panel discussions on various sectors of the economy, as well as face-to- face meetings with potential investors and partners. "The Tbilisi Silk Road Forum is a discussion platform where participants discuss global economic problems, ways to solve them and prospects for cooperation. On the first day of the forum, nine thematic sessions are planned on trade, transport, energy, tourism, digital and financial technologies. On the second day, there will be two sessions on investment opportunities in Georgia, as well as bilateral business meetings, at which company representatives will have the opportunity to discuss issues of cooperation with potential partners, both at the regional and international level," the event organizers report.
Key forum discussion topics will include a new East-West trade architecture, the growing role of the Middle Corridor, digital connectivity, energy sector diversification, tourism sustainability and diversified investments for a sustainable future.
