Logitech is making it much easier to operate your Harmony-controlled smart home with Alexa. The company has announced its Alexa skill now comes with simplified commands, which will allow users to say things like “Alexa, turn on the TV” instead of “Alexa, ask Harmony to turn on the TV.”
It may seem like a small change, but if you’re controlling your smart home or TV largely through an Echo, remembering the call commands for different skills can become cumbersome. Logitech says the simplified Alexa skills will work with Harmony Activities, so if you have a Harmony device that can control more than just your TV, no setup should be out of reach.
The updated Alexa skill is available today.
