RALEIGH, N.C. — Hendon Hooker rushed for three touchdowns and threw for three more, and Greensboro Dudley beat Cape Fear 54-0 on Saturday night in the Class 4-A North Carolina High School Athletic Association championship game.
Hooker, selected the game MVP, was 11 of 16 for 221 yards passing and finished with 89 yards rushing and scoring runs of 19, 12 and 38 yards to help Dudley (15-1) claim its second state title in four years.
