CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. — Jaylon Brown scored 25 points — including four free throws in the last 15 seconds — as Evansville battled past Austin Peay in the final six minutes on Saturday night 77-69.
Evansville (8-4), which shot 54.5 percent (30-55) from the field, was the fifth-straight team to shoot better than 50 percent against Austin Peay. Christian Benzon added a career-high 18 points off the bench on 8-for-10 shooting and had seven rebounds.
