Detroit Mercy has late run to beat Western Kentucky 85-79
DETROIT — Josh McFolley drilled 6 of 9 from beyond the arc and totaled 24 points as Detroit Mercy earned its second win of the season, upsetting Western Kentucky 85-79 on Saturday.
Detroit Mercy (2-9) won its opener, a 99-69 victory over Division III Adrian College before dropping nine straight.
McFolley dished out a career-best eight assists and had three steals. Jaleel Hogan was 9 of 13 from the floor for 19 points and grabbed eight rebounds.
