Wake Forest beats Greensboro Page 29-0 for NC 4-AA title
RALEIGH, N.C. — Darius Hodge had 17 tackles to lead a dominant defensive effort that helped Wake Forest beat Greensboro Page 29-0 in Saturday’s Class 4-AA North Carolina High School Athletic Association championship game.
Hodge was named the game’s most valuable player for the Cougars (16-0), who held Page to 142 total yards. It was the first state title for a Wake County school since 1987.
Hodge blocked a punt that was returned for the game’s first score.
