A study also found that participants enjoyed 11-13 minutes of foreplay followed by 7-8 minutes of intercourse. The participants, however, said that was not enough. The woman reportedly expressed their need for longer foreplay and additional 14-16 minutes of sex.

Couples should engage in as much foreplay as possible before intercourse. Longer foreplay increases arousal and this means the closer she will get to orgasm when intercourse begins.
