UEFA disciplinary case against Celtic over crowd trouble
NYON, Switzerland — UEFA has opened disciplinary proceedings against Celtic after its fans were involved in crowd disturbances and set off fireworks at the Champions League game against Manchester City.
UEFA says the case will be dealt with by its disciplinary body on Feb. 23.
Manchester police arrested 14 Celtic fans around the northern English city on Tuesday, including a man for throwing a hamburger at a police horse who was fined 60 pounds.
