– IPOB criticised the continued detention of Nnamdi Kanu by the Nigerian government
– It blamed Yoruba and Hausa people for not speaking against the act
– The group said the United Nations is aware of the happenings in Nigeria
The Indigenous Peoples Of Biafra (IPOB) has said that God is very angry with Yoruba and Hausa people for not criticising the continued detention of Nnamdi Kanu, the director of Radio Biafra.
Kanu was arrested by security operatives in October 2015 and has been in Kuje prison since then and IPOB has lashed out at other tribes for keeping quiet while Kanu remained behind bars.

COMRADE Emma Powerful who is the spokesperson of the pro-Biafra group said Kanu has not committed any crime and does not deserve to be kept in prison.
He said: “The indigenous people of Biafra IPOB worldwide and the directorate of State DOS wants to use this medium to let Nigerians and the world understand that the leader of the indigenous people of Biafra IPOB, the director radio and Biafra television prophet Nnamdi Kanu committed no crime against the government of Nigeria and her citizens.
“Nevertheless, the people of Arewa and Oduduwa nations that suppose to condemn the illegal detention of mazi Nnamdi Kanu and the persecution of the people of Biafra refused to say against it because it does not concerned their people, will soon get how God work and in no distant future they will hear the actual message from God with the plan he has for the people of Biafra.
“The arrest and the illegal detention of the leader of IPOB worldwide is the worst thing that can happen to Nigeria today because Nnamdi Kanu is very angry that led to God Almighty to be very angry with the government and the country as well.
“Nnamdi Kanu is a peaceful man that knows the law and how to use diplomatic way to get what he wants without shading blood in the quest to restore God’s nation Biafra.
“The quest for the restoration of ancient nation of Biafra led by Mazi Nnamdi Kanu are now getting kudos from the people of Northern and western Nigeria mainly the northern Christians and some Muslims who believe in justice in this contraption called Nigeria.

“God Almighty (Chukwu Okike Abiama) creates nations not man, how can ordinary man come in from a far and joined nations of different value system together with the consultation of our fathers you call it a country? Unless they disengage Biafra from this contraption called Nigeria and release Nnamdi Kanu and other members detained illegally there will be no peace because God is angry with Nigeria and never you doubt God.”
He concluded that the agitation for Biafra is recognised by the United Nations.
“But not withstanding, every body have seen that Nnamdi Kanu others detained illegally committed no crime against anybody in Nigeria that is why they are changing charges against him any time they like. The agitation for Biafra is moving with peaceful means which was recognized by the UNITED NATIONS and other relevant organizations in the world. “
