It is a fact that the country is in a recession. Businesses and individuals are feeling the brunt. Basic commodities have more than tripled compared to this time last year and star actress Omoni Oboli has shared a message of hope to Nigerians via Instagram.

The actress, director and producer whose film Okafor’s Law, has been selected for screening to a global audience at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) running from September 8 to 18 said: “Tough times don’t last, but tough people do! Support Nigeria! Nigeria will rise again! Let’s stick together and support each other. It is well with us. God’s got us! We can do this!”
