JUST IN: Ronaldo set to return to Portugal as Arsenal come under attack
The Champions League 2016/2017 group stage pairings have been decided and as usual, reactions have been trickling in.
One game to look out for is the Barcelona clash against Man City in Group C as Pep Guardiola will be making a return to his former side, after lifting the Champions League trophy as the youngest manager in 2009 with the Spanish Champions. The remaining teams in group C are Mönchengladbach and Celtic.
Barcelona defeated Manchester City in the round of 16 in 2013/14 and 2014/15.
In the other games, English Champions Leicester City have been handed a favourable draw against Porto, Club Brugge, København in Group G.
However, the game already hugging major headlines is the clash between PSG and Arsenal in Group A. Both teams have Basel and Ludogorets to compete against for a place in next round.
Champions Real Madrid will play in Group F alongside Dortmund, Sporting CP, Legia, while EPL’s last team in the Champions Leagu, Tottenham will play in Group E alongside CSKA Moskva, Leverkusen, and Monaco
Some football lovers have taken to Social media platform, Twitter to air their views about the groups and NAIJ.com takes a look at some of these reactions. See below.
