I was thrilled to hear that in Scott Morrison's "economic headland" speech he will address the problem of the "taxed and taxed-nots" ("Morrison issues stark warning", August 25). Finally, I thought, the government will crack down on our richest individuals paying virtually no personal income tax; the multinational companies who desperately avoid paying tax in Australia; the use of companies by wealthy families to minimise tax. But no, he was referring to welfare recipients. I know who I would rather the government target. Elizabeth Barr Newtown
