Two more Lotto multi-millionaires in KZN
Two Lotto players in KwaZulu-Natal have won R35.2 million and R19.2 million respectively.
|||Kokstad - Two lottery players from KwaZulu-Natal will be smiling all the way to the bank after scooping R35.2-million and R19.2-million jackpots respectively this past weekend.
The only ticket to match all six Lotto winning numbers was a QuickPick ticket bought at a Spar supermarket in Kokstad, KwaZulu-Natal. The R35 244 636.50 amount represents the highest ever Lotto game jackpot won under current lottery operator, Ithuba. The player of the winning ticket only made a bet of R15.00. The winner is yet to come forward to claim their life-changing winnings.
Last Friday, the PowerBall Plus jackpot which had been rolling over for several weeks, carrying R19 292 609.50 was also won.
The R45.00 QuickPick winning ticket was bought at The Pie Train at Isipingo Rail also in KwaZulu-Natal. The winner has also not come forward to claim.
Under Ithuba 120 jackpots have already been won across Lotto, Lotto Plus, PowerBall and PowerBall Plus games in its first 14 months of operating the lottery.
Ithuba has now created a total of 73 millionaires at an astonishing average of more than 5 millionaires a month.
This week all eyes will definitely be on the R10-million PowerBall jackpot for Friday's, 05 August, draw.
