Battle line: Dino Melaye dares Tinubu (photos)
In a move that might be perceived as a dare against Bola Tinubu, Senator Dino Melaye has gone to Lagos to spend the weekend.
Melaye’s decision to visit Lagos at a time when he is fast becoming unpopular with top members of the All Progressives Congress in the state speaks volume.
The senator’s recent altercation with the wife Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the wife of the former Lagos state governor has made some people to suggest that Lagos is the last place he would want to visit at the moment.

Melaye reportedly verbally attacked the female senator during a heated argument in House of Assembly where he threatened to beat and impregnate her and nothing would happen.
His threat did not go down well with the APC especially in Lagos who warned Melaye to desist from harassing the wife of the APC chieftain.
Senators from Lagos, Bareehu Olugbenga Ashafa (APC, Lagos East) and Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (APC, Lagos West) also warned Melaye that he risks facing their wrath with his action and this has raised concern about his possibility of visiting Lagos.
Melaye however surprised many with his visit to Lagos which he made public via his social media page on Saturday, July 16 where he shared pictures of his arrival and visit to the city.

In a more surprising move, Melaye went to Bourdillon and dared ‘noisemakers’ to come and attack him.
It is not known if his decision to visit the street is incidental as Tinubu is fondly called the lion of bourdillon and this may be seen as a direct confrontation on the APC chieftain
