American supermarkets are refusing people with food stamps as thousands of citizens have been left hungry for over 8 days due to a “glitch” in the food stamp system. Widespread reports say that customers are being turned away in their droves due to their EBT cards being rejected at supermarkets across America, with the government failing to address the problem. Zerohedge.com reports: On downdetector.com there are scores of reports of problems with the EBT system from people all over the nation. Could this simply be another example of government incompetence, or is something else at work here?
