Russia, China Set To Increase Trade Turnover To $200 Billion By 2020
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announced Tuesday that Russia and China plan to increase their bilateral trade turnover to $200 billion by 2020, Russian news agency TASS reported. Lavrov was speaking at a conference, “Russia and China: Taking on a New Quality of Bilateral Relations,” being held in Moscow, May 30-31.
“China is Russia’s key economic partner,” Lavrov said. “Reaching a trade turnover of $200 billion by 2020 is on the agenda,” he added, noting that “this aim is rather achievable.”
