The North Atlantic Alliance will not abandon its strategy of moving eastward – closer to Russia's border, because it wants to achieve a "first strike capability" using high-precision conventional armaments, Russian politician Viktor Alksnis told Svobodnaya Pressa, adding that this strategy "poses a threat to the whole world."
