How big is Sambisa: Read what Nigerians are saying about rescue of abducted Chibok school girl
Since the abduction of over 200 school girls from their school in Chibok by the Boko Haram sect, many have been praying for their return.
On Wednesday, May 18, report surfaced that one of the missing Chibok school girls has been found.
The rescued girl identified as Amina Ali Nkek from Mbalala village, south of Chibok was said to have been found by members of vigilante group known as Civilian JTF.
The Chibok girls’ abduction caught the attention of the international media, sparking protests. Many called on the Nigerian government to step up its effort in rescuing the girls from captivity.
Social media was buzzing with the #BringBackOurGirls.
However, all efforts to rescue the girls has not yielded any positive result as they are still missing, two years after their abduction.

The report of the first missing Chibok school girl found in Sambisa forest by CJTF has been greeted with jubilation.
Many are happy that one of the girls has been found and are hoping that the remaining will be found soon.
Jennifer Lindley wondered how international agencies were unable to rescue the girls. She wrote on her Facebook wall: “Bless her, I so hope she will recover and then the rest of these innocent girls will be found and rescued. I still cannot get my head round how international agencies/military couldn’t rescue them before now. Imagine if they were European or American girls.”

Some are wondering if Sambisa Forest is bigger than Nigeria that the Nigerian military has not been able to rescue the Chibok girls from their abductors.

Some people are however, insisting the report is false, claiming the Chibok girls abduction was a scam by some people to bring down the former administration led by Goodluck Jonathan.

Some others are wondering why there are discrepancies in the report. The Nigerian army is claiming to have rescued the girl while other reports have it that she was rescued by the Civilian JTF. Also the rescued girl is being called a different names, so no one is sure what her name is.
