Some 11 sex workers were walking naked down the streets of St Petersburg in Russia after police raided their brothel. The prostitutes were accompanied by some of their customers.
Footage of the men and women walking down the street surfaced online
Footage of the men and crying women marching for five blocks was captured by a passer-by on his phone, who later leaked extraordinary walk of shame to the internet.

According to local media, three men managed to escape the arrest fleeing through a back door of the building in the city’s historic Vasilyevsky Island. Others had to walk stark-naked in the middle of the night before being put into police cars and taken to a police station.

An eye-witness gave the details of the incident:“Police burst into the building and a little while later left with naked and crying prostitutes.”

The police raid reportedly followed a tip-off by Russian former kickboxer and MMA fighter Viacheslav Datsik
The illegal brothel owners were reportedly responsible for a flood in the apartment below but the police raid was initiated by a tip-off from an anti-prostitution activist, ex-kickboxer Viacheslav Datsik.
