Breastfeeding is a great thing. It keeps your baby healthy and happy. Women in Bishnoi tribe in India has taken it to the next level. See what they do with the baby animals!
People in this tribe live close to jungle. Their kids grow up playing with all kinds of beasts. Deer takes special spot in their hearts. They worship the nature and believe that deer babies are given to them to care for and love as their own children.
That is why when such an unlucky little one losses its mother women of the Bishnoi tribe take them in and even breastfeed them along with their own children.
They wish to keep them healthy and well while growing up. One of the students from that tribe says:
“My parents have never differentiated between a baby deer and me. We are one family and it is in our religion to protect them.”
Basically, those cute deer babies become their family members. They live with them, they get breastfed and they play with the children.
Kids state that pets understand their language and can communicate with them.
This whole story sounds very unusual and odd to us, but these people see nothing special about it. They cannot imagine any other way of life. Presently Bishnoi tribe has little over 2000 houses in their settlements. And deer babies find save homes with them.
