USA just released a new trailer for the highly-anticipated second season of 'Mr. Robot'

USA just dropped the trailer for season two of the hit hacker drama, "Mr. Robot."

Season one of "Mr. Robot"  followed computer engineer Elliot (Rami Malek) as he joins fsociety, a renegade group of hackers trying to free the world of debt. Elliot and fsociety join forces to take down E Corp, the global conglomerate in control of the world's debt, but he finds himself caught in a game of cat-and-mouse with the sadistic leader of fsociety, Mr. Robot (Christian Slater).

"Mr. Robot" is a well-crafted psychological thriller with a very strong leading cast and subversive, razor-sharp social commentary. Talking to Esquire, creator and showrunner Sam Esmail said season two will build on the shocking realization about Elliot's loosening group on reality: "Now that we are aware of his [mental health] issues, Elliot has to address them. What happens after that realization? What are the steps you take to negotiate with it, reconcile with it, fight with it? That's sort of where we're taking the second season. Also, at the end of the first season we think that the mission is complete and that they were able to take down Evil Corp, but we see in the coda with that scene between WhiteRose and Philip Price that there are larger forces at play."
