Pastor Bola Payimo, the founder, Rehoboth Christian Ministries International, has urged President Muhammadu Buhari, to continue to be truthful in the implementation of the policies of his administrations, Leadership reports.
According to the pastor, so far the president has not appeared to be lying to Nigerians on the running of the nation’s affairs.

The cleric made the observation during a press briefing held on the ministry’s forthcoming convention scheduled to hold between Wednesday and Sunday, adding that Nigerians should to continue to be patient with the government
He said the current administration at the federal level was enjoying the good will and patience of Nigerians because the masses believe the government have been faithful to them on its policies.
However, Payimo, warned of a grave consequence for the nation’s leaders the day the people find out they are been lied to. He said the reactions that greeted the new fuel pricing and supply framework introduced by the federal government was a testimony that Nigerians still have faith in the current leadership of the country.
He urged Nigerian leaders to always ensure that government’s policies and decisions were centered on truth and in the interest of the masses.

Meanwhile, a top federal government official has revealed that Dr Ibe Kachikwu and some state governors pressed President Buhari into removing fuel subsidy.
Daily Trust reports that the official who pleaded anonymity said in Abuja on Saturday, May 14 that President Buhari was concerned about the effect of increasing fuel price to N145 on common Nigerians and had resisted the minister of state for petroleum’s proposals for several months.
