Some gunmen have attacked the Kajola area of Ondo state over the weekend, kidnapping two reverend sisters alongside their driver.
Punch reports that the nuns attached to the St Louis Ville Catholic School, Kaduna state were on their way to Ijebu Itele, Ogun state, for a meeting when their vehicle broke down on the way.

While they were trying to fix the problem, their abductors reportedly swooped on them and whisked them to an unknown destination.
A source told reporters that one of the victims was an indigene of Ondo state. The source further disclosed that the kidnappers had demanded a ransom of N20m.
The source said: “The two sisters were in their bus and were going for a special meeting of the group in Ijebu Itele. They were travelling when their vehicle broke down on the road.
“As they were trying to fix the problem, the kidnappers swooped on them and took the sisters and their driver away.
“The church has contacted their family members.
“We have been told that the kidnappers demanded N20m before they will release them, but the church has started negotiating with them and hopefully, they will be released,” the source revealed.

When contacted, the Ondo state police spokesman, Femi Joseph, said the police were on the trail of the suspects, noting that the case was reported at the anti-kidnapping section of the Kajola police division.
He reassured that the victims would be rescued unhurt.
The spokesman said: “The sisters were travelling to Ijebu Itele. When they got to Kajola, their vehicle broke down.
“The hoodlums, who saw it as an opportunity, swopped on them and took them away, along with their driver.
“We will soon rescue them in no time,” Joseph said.
Meanwhile, Godswill Akpabio, senate minority leader and former governor of Akwa Ibom state, on Wednesday, May 4, said that kidnapping for ransoms started in the southeast of Nigeria.
He said this while making contributions to a report bordering on kidnapping in Nigeria.
The former governor said that kidnapping began in Anambra state where Chris Ngige, former governor of the state, was kidnapped by gunmen.
“When it (kidnapping) started in the Niger Delta it was like a protest, but not for ransom.
“When it started in southeast it was commercialised, most especially in Abia state where people built houses with bunkers under,” he said.
He commended the efforts of the security agencies responsible for kidnapping and hostage taking.
In the same vein, Gbenga Ashafa representing Lagos east senatorial district charged the 8th Senate to come up with proper legislation to allow states enact laws.
He added that there are ongoing kidnappings that have not been reported and steps should be taken to stop that.
