The minister of Agriculture, Audu Ogbeh, has warned Nigerians to desist from consuming bean pudding (moin-moin) made in nylons.
Ogbeh said moi-moi made in nylons are very poisonous to the health. Channels TV correspondent, Kayode Akintemi, quoted the minister of Agriculture, Audu Ogbeh, saying:
”Please stop eating Moin-Moin cooked in cellophane, it releases poisoning chemicals into it, while the leaf gives antioxidant. There is a lot of self-poisoning going on in Nigeria now with people in Hospital & asking to be taken to India for treatment” – Audu Ogbeh
