If the first two years of his professional career are an indicator, Jordan Spieth could very well be the second coming with regard to the PGA Tour. At his first Masters in 2014 he was tied with eventual winner Bubba Watson through 54 holes, and last year he solidified his place in history, leading the 2015 Masters wire-to-wire and tying the lowest score in Augusta history to take home his first Green Jacket.
While the $1.8 million dollar purse he took home from last year’s Masters was a nice get, it is (amazingly) a drop in the proverbial bucket compared to the endorsement money he took home from Under Armour. With his contract rumored to be around $200 million over ten years, and incentives for doing things like winning two majors in the same year and being named tour player of the year.
With the 2016 Masters fast approaching, we’re taking a look at Spieth’s potential outfits as he takes to Augusta National. His looks tend to be a bit more classic and understated than the colorful flair of Rickie Fowler or the newfound neon of Rory McIlroy. But with an arsenal of Under Armour apparel at the ready, Spieth will be both well dressed and well prepared for his tee time next Thursday. Below is a potential outfit of his from head to toe.
Under Armour golf hats were pretty easy to miss on the tour until the guy leading every tournament had one on his head. The simple design, in both white and navy, quickly became a signature part of Spieth's look.
This simple striped shirt is about as bold as Spieth gets with his gear. While others on the tour have gotten a bit louder with there apparel, Spieth has chosen to keep his look toned down and let his swing do the talking.
Spieth's belt is a sleek, no hole, usually white belt that is often the brightest piece of apparel on his person along with his hat. If one of the world's best golfers can trust it to keep his pants up while he lines up a putt halfway through Amen corner, so can you.
