Barcelona’s Lionel Messi says it would be extra sweet to score his 500th career goal against Real Madrid in this weekend’s El Clasico.

Messi has scored an incredible 499 career goals for Argentina and Barcelona at just 28-years of age with an impressive 21 of those coming against Barcelona’s biggest rivals.

Speaking to Goal ahead of the clash at the Camp Nou, Messi has admitted that one more against Los Blancos and a subsequent victory would make for a perfect day.
