Vishju Jadav, ASI, Sanand learnt the hard way that he couldn't ignore the country's legal system with impunity. On Wednesday, Jadav, he ignored repeated summons to appear as a witness was made to sit in the dock for accused and was let off only upon payment of a fine of Rs40. Jadav tendered unconditional apology for ignoring eight consecutive summons. He claimed his superior officer used to assign him to other duties on the court dates.
